Currently people have their cavities filled by their dentist. However what if there was a way to prevent cavities from forming. If there was a vaccine for tooth decay that can be painlessly squirted into the nostrils in the first few years of a child’s life.
That is what Harvard Medical School faculty members are working on at the Forsyth Institute in Boston. What is the best toothbrush to use.
11/10/12
I am due to get a new tooth brush up till now I would just get any plan cheap toothbrush, normally at the 99 cent stores. My dentist is getting on me about my dental habits and I am willing to spend more on a toothbrush if there is really any difference. The issue is that there are so many different toothbrushes out that it is hard to know what is the best one to use. They all say they are the best. I just wondering what is the best toothbrush that people like to really use the most? Which is better electric or regular? Oral-B seems good but is it the best one to use? looking for opinions.
Dr Dental, Looking for a good but low cost dental insurance.
11/08/12
I am currently self employed and I have been looking for good health and dental insurance for my family for the past few months. After having found a health insurance plan that I want to get, I notice that the dental it comes with is not want I would want for my family.
The dental part does not cover much and has a max limit of $1000.00. I want something that does not have a max limit and offer better overall coverages without all the long waiting periods. I can not seem to find a dental plan that can fit my family needs.
My two children have dental issues can I do not want them waiting for dental care just because the plan that comes with my medical has all these limitations. Where can I get an additional dental insurance plan that works right away and is more usable ?
Crest 3D White Advanced Vivid Fluoride Toothpaste
11/06/12
My teeth are not as white as I would like them to be. My parents will not pay to have my teeth whiten by a dentist, nor will they let me use over the counter whiting kits. However my mom has agree to let me use toothpaste with whiting. Though she said she would only get it once and so I need to find the best one right from the start. Has anyone one used Crest 3D White Advanced Vivid Fluoride Toothpaste? I mean Crest is a good name right but I am not sure what to get since I only get one shot at whiting my teeth.
Why have a Family Dental Insurance Health Care Plan.
11/04/12
Why have family dental insurance. Well not everyone in the United States receive dental benefits though their employer. People that do not receive dental benefits can tend to put off their dental care for themselves and their families, this mostly due to cost issues.
However, there are low cost dental insurance options that are available and will help make going to the dentist much more affordable for your whole family. There are HMO insurance plans in most states that run around $30-$40 a month for a family and offer free to very low cost preventive care, such as X-rays, Check ups and cleanings. For just one person those services can up to a $150 or more. You can see how with a family of four paying $40.00 a month that an average saving of $500.00 in dental care cost a year and that just in regards to preventive dental care. Dental HMO insurance plans also save you money on basic and major dental care services as well, and most dental HMO insurance plans to not have long term waiting periods.
Also people that have dental insurance tend to see the dentist regularly. By having proper preventive care services it helps to avoid having larger dental issues in the future. Which in turns also helps to keep your dental care cost low.

Some times while eating we can get food lodged between our teeth that just does not want to come out easily. If you are eating out at the time this can also be irritating to you and your gums. However never use a sharp object to remove anything from between your teeth. If this technique doesn’t work, and you can end up cracking or chipping a tooth. Best advise, carry dental floss with you at all times. I do not suggest flossing at the table but you can do so in the restroom.
